i looked but didn't see a thread like this yet, so here we go.

once an item gets remade & the new pic added, i can no longer load any of my saved avis that had that particular item as part of the design- for example, when i try to load at least two thati made with the old verison "eyrion collar black", it doesn't load and i get the message "item not in inventory".

if i look in my wardrobe, the items show, so they are there. i was under the impression that the old items would just be replaced by new images with the same file names (please correct me if i'm wrong ) if that's the case it shouldn't make any difference in my saved avis, should it? also, weren't there a few items that had already had some slight changes done? i think the mermaid & gigi eyes, vintage rose lips?) those file images were changed without most people even noticing, and i didn't have any issues like this then.

i have a LOT of saved outfits, and not all of them are saved elsewhere, some of them are still 'works in progress' with names like AAA, RED, or BB1, so it's rather frustrating to recreate them when sometimes i can't even remember exactly what they were.

what could be causing this, and is anyone else having this problem?

LOL, Firn, it was the avatars i'd saved with the black eyrion collar & pink kittycat items that wouldn't load for me. everything else that was changed i either don't have, don't have a saved avi with it, or i took out the changed item (like bearzerker sword) while the voting was ongoing.

I'd like to know if this could be done with my saved avies as well,as I also have this problem

I would also like the saved avi's that I have to be fixed as I've got several with updated Item's that I loved but no longer am able to wear.

So, not wanting to push anyone as there is no hurry, I would just like to know if this issue (not being able to load saved avies when they contain remade items) is trying to get solved in general, or if it is planned to be done so individually (which seems like a gruesomly long task as it seems we are many having this issue) or if you've decided simply not to confront this issue for the time being (wich is ok with me as I've said, I'm in no hurry and I know you have better and more important things to do around the site :3) or if it's simply not going to be resolved (which I want to know simply to start deleting theses avies)

No no, I don't see the point in doing that either, I'm just asking because the first person to point out this issue reported the avatars that weren't working and they gor fixed by Starkard.

Now I know he's too busy to fix every single one of our avies, but I would just like to know if there's a chance than in a distant future he might be able to check them out.
If not then I'll just delete the avies. I jsut have a horrible memory in terms of redoing those avies, some I might not even like anymore so I don't mind deleting, others I KNOW I loved and don't remember exactly how they were...
