News Item!

The shop is temporarily closed for now. I will be honoring the final order, and then I will be stopping the shop temporarily. I have two reasons for this: 1, I've felt less and less like drawing lately and 2 (the main reason), I have classes starting soon and I need to get used to my new schedule and homework pile before I can devote time to drawing. I will re-open either during vacation or when I get used to everything. Thank you for your understanding

Event 1: Name the shop!

I can’t think of a name for the shop, so I need your help! Give me name suggestions! The winner will get a free piece of art of their choice and I’ll make a note in the introduction saying they named it! How to enter? Simple! Just fill out the following form:

Event 2: I need samples = Freebies for you
Since I’ve just opened shop and haven’t posted my pictures online very often, I don’t have any samples. So here’s the deal: You give me orders, let me use them as samples (and you keep it for yourself too) and I’ll do it for free (although you can tip if you want. I don’t mind. It’s really ok) Deal?

The following is a list of what I need to make. Please pick whichever you’d like and post an order form. Write in the price section “Shop Starter Promotion”, and fill out the rest accordingly. I’m still starting with only 2 1 slots, so if you see that they are full, please wait to post your order.

• Be respectful. By this I mean be kind when you chat in this thread, and be kind when you speak to me. If you treat me nicely, I will do the same to you.
• As I’ve said before, it may take a while for you to get the art piece. You may post in the thread to ask about it, but again, please be kind with your words, and please do not get too impatient. I have a busy life and am warning everyone ahead of time of this.
• Please send the trade immediately after posting your order so that I know you have the funds to cover it. When I have completed the piece I will show you a regular-sized, watermarked version of it, like this: . After I have done so, and you are happy with the finished piece I will accept the trade. When the trade is complete, I will then post the full version in the “Order Pick-up” post in this thread.
• If you see that all slots are full, please wait until they are finished before posting your order. This makes it so that I’m much more likely to take and complete your order.
• If you want me to change something, please tell me when I show you the Works in Progress (WIPs) A few examples are: If you want me to change the pose of the character(s) please tell me when I show you the first WIP, which will be a sketch no matter what you order. If you want me to change the colors and have not specified exact colors in your order, please tell me when I show you the colored WIP or final draft. Things like that.
• News and Events items will not stay in their post forever. Once an event has ended, AND the prize(s) claimed, I will remove the event from the post. If the prize(s) has not been claimed, I will put a strikethrough on the event so that it is still readable. News will be removed when I feel it is appropriate to remove them, so basically anytime I feel they've been up long enough.
• Rules are subject to change, if I change them it will be announced in the “News and Events” section of this thread.

Special Rule!
If you want me to draw an OC, I’ll need a lot of information to draw them accurately. I’ll need to be given a description (brown eyes, blue hair, long legs, etc.) It would also be helpful if you show me any of the following: Pictures you or others have drawn of the character, pictures of real life items the character might wear, close ups of tattoos, specific colors you’d like as the base colors. Anything like that. Also, if they are in a couple/group piece, please don’t tell me their height in feet and inches, please tell me something like “Girl A is half a head shorter than Girl B” since I measure my images in heads. The average adult/older teen I draw is about 7 heads tall. If you don’t give me this info, I will be left to my own devices and make something up. If that’s ok with you, then please let me know.

Since I don’t know how much to charge for my art, consider this a “name your price” shop until I do. What I do know, is that I will not accept less than 1k for any colored pieces. You can also pay me with items that equal (or just get close to) in value to what I might charge for my art.

Update: Most people in the poll are saying the prices are good, but there are some who say it's too high. So, here's what I'm thinking: I'll keep this up as suggested prices, but not exact prices, so feel free to haggle.

I don’t know how much time I’ll have to devote to this, so I’m going to start with 2 1 slots. Remember it may take about a week for you to get your artwork, I don't know how much I can draw in this time. It could be a day or two. Also, you may make more than one order, as long as there are enough slots open for each of your orders.

The following orders are ready. Don’t forget that you must host them yourself! I will keep them here for up to 2 weeks, and then I will remove them from my photobucket account in order to save space. I do keep them backed up on my computer for a while though, so if you lose them somehow let me know and I'll look for your order.

What does it take to get on the Whitelist? Not much, just be polite, order an unspecified number of times, or do something else cool. There are no current benefits for being on the Whitelist, but who knows? I may do a promotion just for people on here. So get on here!

What does it take to get on the blacklist? Be rude, insulting, don't pay if you're supposed to (there may be some promos where payment is not necessary), and that's all I can think of, but there may be more ways. Whatever it is, I'll warn anyone before sticking them on the blacklist. I'd like it to stay empty, and I'm sure very few people dream of being on one.
