It's not easy finding good dubbed anime. The only good dubs I know are fan-made dubs for music, anyway.

So, subbed.

I prefer subbed anime. I mean, in my language, dubbed animes sound just weird.
And yeah, there's not many animes dubbed in my language, so it's easier to found anime with subtitles.

I must be honest... If I start watching an anime dubbed, then later I can't watch it subbed, because I'll remember the dubbed voice. But I don't really mind which one, I like them both the same. Unless I am (like right now) without my glasses.
Actually looking for: Light Knuffel Gen 10, Air Knuffel Gen 8.

Subtitles by far for me.

I think as with anything, the original, intended depictions are always far better.
Even though english is my first language, I always think that when I see things dubbed in english, the voices are just god awful and do more harm than good.

There's even been several times I've gone abroad, and flicking through the channels there I've come across certain english programmes, such as Friends in other languages, and their voices are just as god awful dubbed! I have a friend from eastern europe who started watching Friends in his own native language, and he thought it was horrendous. I introduced him to the original, english version (he was reluctant to watch it after how bad the dubbed version was), and he loves it!

But yeah I don't think it matters what language, dubbed programs/films/anime are always awful, or at least are never as good as the originals. Not from everything that I've seen.

Sure, for some people subtitles might be hard to get used to at first, but after a couple of viewings you barely begin to notice them anymore.

Besides; seeing what 4kids did to One Piece when they dubbed that in english (OH GOD WHAT IS THIS THING?), I firmly stand by that dubbing does more harm than good, in most cases.

Depends on the voice actors but I enjoy mostly subbed anime.

Subs for me. I think it's not really the dubs' fault that it sound really weird. The simple fact that the mouth shape of the characters speaking in Japanese mixed with english words with end up making the words sound different. But some voice actors are really awful. Who thought that the 12 years old Sakura from Card Captor can have an adult's voice?

Suffocating in this city of lies,
I dance to the puppeteer’s whims.
This encounter that was doomed from the start,
Brought only bittersweet pain and tears.

I present you this song of decadence,
As we continued down the path to ruin.
This illusion of tranquility was surely crumbling,
Closing our eyes as the world went up in flames.

but in some animes i like dubbed 1 because thats how i first saw it and 2 becuase i could walk away or some thing hear it and still know whats going on so each one has its benefits
