but i might start playing again xD

Hey. I've played about... 20+ different MMOs, haven't found one I liked enough to stay with yet.

Me and my husband are working on making our own UO (Ultima Online) shard (private server. The different servers are called 'shards' because the in canon game explanation is that the world shattered into different multi-verses)

ooh ultima online isn't what i'm used of playing, but it seems pretty fun :)
ah i love private servers more then i do like normal servers xD so if you need a gm/mod/whatever for your UO shard private server, let me know xP

y'know, dekaron, and BOI and all that are more my sort of games xP

We're probably just going to need more players for now, heh. We have about maybe a dozen people that might play right now, and that's about it.

advertising it, or placing it on a private server site is always usefull :)

That's probably a good idea, we'll do that once we actually get it up and running. We took out some more of the useless skills (like begging, forensics, and taste identification) and are adding in a couple more, like herbalism and an enchanting system. We're also doing a few new races, and a new ability called Soul Reaving.

ooh that sounds cool, but probably alot of work ^^

OH yeah. It's a heck of a lot of rewrites... we were going to use UOX for the base, but there's so many errors and issues and flaws and things that don't make ANY sense, that we're basically getting rid of 95% of it, and redoing it.

Which is why it's taking over 6 months, and we're still not to the alpha testing phase yet, heh.

On the plus side, it being more understandable and efficient means less downtime for bugfixes, additions, or edits to the server, which is good.
